So what exactly is Hypnotherapy and how can it help you get more out of life?

Are you struggling with a particular issue that’s affecting your quality of life, your work or relationships, and holding you back from getting the most out of life?

Maybe you’ve tried other ways to overcome the problem but are feeling stuck or frustrated because you keep coming up against the same thinking patterns.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a modern, collaborative form of Hypnotherapy which draws from Evolutionary Psychology, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Therapy and NLP to provide a tailored framework aimed at addressing the client’s own unique relationship with their problem.
The therapy is interactive and is based on a thorough understanding of the background and pattern of your issue, and as the therapist I guide you to a new understanding of the problem – one that works for you as an individual.

Rather than aiming to ‘fix’ you, I guide and support you to make the changes yourself so you’re fully involved in the process of your own therapy, and weave in hypnotic suggestions to help embed those changes subconsciously. We work at the pace that’s right for you to be free of the issue permanently and for good.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based approach, which has been shown in professional research to be an effective treatment for anxiety and depression. The professional study is listed by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) and has been published in a peer-reviewed journal;

Is Hypnotherapy the right solution for me?

If your problem has a psychological element, and if you’re motivated to change and are open to working in partnership with your therapist to achieve your solution then it’s likely that Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help you. It isn’t a magic cure, and really is best suited to clients who are willing to be involved in the process of their own therapy.
It’s also important that you feel comfortable with the therapist that you’re working with and trust that they can help you – For this reason I offer a free phone or Zoom consultation so that you can get a feel for how I work and so we can both decide if it makes sense to work together.
